Conveyor Belt for the Delta Plot Combine
Conveyor Belt for the Delta Plot Combine
The conveyor belt for the Delta has been developed to store samples even more efficiently on the plot combine and thus to reduce undesirable stops.
The Conveyor Belt's Operating Principle
- The samples are taken in the plot combine's cab by the 2nd operator and are sealed securely using any type of closure.
- The samples are transported manually through a flap (minimising the creation of dust and noise in the cab), through an inclined shaft onto a non-driven roller conveyor.
- The samples taken then drop via a roller conveyor onto an endless conveyor belt. The endless conveyor belt is arranged 200 mm lower than the roller conveyor and has 250 mm high walls to increase the storage capacity (approx. 160 litres; length 2.3 m, width 0.3 m). The material cone that builds up as a result is confined by a rotating flap gate so that it does not disperse due to vibrations.
- The samples are stored temporarily on the conveyor belt. This conveyor belt is controlled by a pushbutton in the cab.
- The conveyor belt is brought into the unloading position by pivoting and tilting (hydraulic cylinders of cab's tilting mechanism). Maximum height: 1.8 m, minimum height: 0.75 m
- The maximum transport width of 2.55 m is achieved by folding in the conveyor belt.

The samples taken can be stored effortlessly outside the cab and then simply unloaded using the Delta's conveyor belt. This saves time and energy!
