BootDoc official outfitter for Austria Ski Pool until 2014

Already tried and highly praised by World Cup aces such as Marcel Hirscher or Marlies Schild – BootDoc ski boot inserts have now been available to all of the stars in the Austria Ski Pool from mid-November 2011. The contract, which runs for three years, will supply the 400-plus athletes from the world's most successful skiing nation – in the disciplines of skiing, cross-country skiing, ski jump and freestyle – with quality products from BootDoc. Since experience from the pros is fed constantly back into product development, even hobby skiers will benefit from this major step forward. BootDoc insoles stabilize and hold the foot in position in footwear – thus helping the body to retain its balance, whatever the discipline. The BootDoc product outfitting contract for the Austria Ski Pool extends beyond the winter season and will also be helping athletes in endurance training, running and biking.

Precise foot analysis tools for any sports dealership

With its insoles, foam liners, compression and sports socks, BootDoc has set itself the target of ensuring perfect all-round footcare. Key priorities in this process include uncompromising quality, supplemented by the adjustability of the products to the individual foot. This is why BootDoc offers sport dealers revolutionary tools for the precise analysis of customers' feet. These reliable yet rapid results from these tools give both the sales advisor and the customer the reassurance that the chosen product will be a perfect fit. At the same time, this also offers dealers a fantastic opportunity for selling a matching insole with every shoe sold. Depending on requirements, a range of instruments can be used for foot analysis. The high-end product here is the BD Scan Station with integrated HRC photo system. The fastest scanner on the market precisely measures the foot length and width, heel width and load distribution. Unlike standard machines, the foot does not need to be covered during measurement. In just seconds, insole type and matching shoe type are identified – and can be stored with customer data if required. Equally reliable results are provided by the easy-to-use BD Podoscope, which uses cutting-edge LED technology to determine the optimum foot shape with outstanding precision. The simplest type of foot analysis for rapid determination of foot arch and load is offered by the BD TFA with integrated length and width analysis. Here, thermo foils are used for both the footprint and grading.

BootDoc insoles: A new dimension in personalization
Every foot is unique and thus deserves an equally unique modification to the shoe insert with which it comes into contact. This is why BootDoc goes one decisive step beyond merely determining the matching basic insole type. With the BD 3D Heater (and the BD Speed Heat for high-traffic days) the selected insoles are heated and modified to become an even better fit to the customer's foot. Thanks to a range of technologies, the type of sports practised by the customer can also be catered to precisely.

Feels like a second skin: BootDoc compression socks:

The reputation of BootDoc insoles on the international market has also awakened dealers' interest in compression socks from the same manufacturer. Covering both summer and winter sport types, BootDoc can offer a range of compression socks in narrow and wide calf widths. The graduated structure of the "Performance Compression Socks" improves circulation for the athlete. Reinforced toes and heels mean the socks are particularly comfortable to wear, while ensuring an even better fit for the shoe. As a result, BootDoc compression socks not only provide valuable protection but also feel like a second skin in ski boots. These unusual properties have also caused something of a stir in the Ladies' and Men’s World Cup, with many ski racers now outfitted with BootDoc Performance Compression Socks. BootDoc has also added "Medium Compression Socks" and "Merino Compression Socks" to its extensive range to ensure that there is a perfect pair of socks to suit every type of sport. Specialist requirements are also handled by the "Sensovene R9" sock, which combines a compressive effect and substructure for use in long competitive heats and training runs.

New low-pressure foam process for BootDoc foam liners

The membrane technology developed by BootDoc for the forefoot area guarantees the simple handling and rapid manufacture of foam liners.  Self-regulating foam volumes and the use of a pressure-reduced system ensure trouble-free deployment for any degree of ski boot rigidity. This method dispenses with the time-consuming taping often required with other systems. This popular process completes within just 15 to 20 minutes.
