WINTERSTEIGER: everything from the same supplier
Ried. The first service and rental fair at the Wintersteiger headquarters in Ried/Innkreis took place from 25 - 27 August. The market leader presented its whole range of products for ski service and rental on an exhibition stand of 500 m2. More than 150 dealers from Austria, Germany and Switzerland picked up information on the product innovations and had the opportunity for a tour of the company and a live demonstration of product manufacture from development through production to assembly.

The centre of interest in the machine section was the fully automatic service facility "Discovery" for skis and snowboards. With more than 250 modules sold, the Discovery is the most successful automatic service machine on the market.
The "Basejet" is now also ready for series production - this is a coating repair machine developed for skis and snowboards. The completely new coating repair system ensures high throughput with up to 60 pairs of skis an hour. Other advantages that made visitors enthusiastic at the presentation were the low material use with automatic adjustment of ski and snowboard geometry, a swivel repair head for prompt colour change and the small amount of space required for the machine. 
Great sales success has already been achieved in the ski binding adjustment and checking section, with the "Speedtronic Pro" and "Drivetronic" presented at this year's ispo. While the "Drivetronic" represents ideal entry-level equipment with its simple mechanism, the "Speedtronic Pro" is the high end solution for high speed adjustment and data linkup to software systems. 
In the rental section the new fronts for the Easystore storage systems aroused great interest. The fronts can be assembled on all existing Easystore vehicles and are available in various materials and individually printed designs. Customers can design their rental shop exactly to their own requirements. 
In the storage section Wintersteiger has started a system partnership with Gladek Technik and now offers various storage cabinets and locker systems. The allocation of storage was also one of the many features shown in the "Easyrent" rental, storage and POS software from Wintersteiger.
Once more Wintersteiger proved impressively its leadership in innovation and quality and offered visitors a comprehensive overview of the whole product and services range. 
As a thank you for coming, visitors were invited to a free stay at the nearby Geinberg thermal baths and also had the opportunity of winning a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder for two days. The lucky winner was Heinrich Stöckl jun. of Sport 2000 Stöckl in Gmünd.
